About The Position

The QA Shipping Administrator reviews customer specifications and shipping instructions to initiate required shipping documents. The role verifies material and process certifications for compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, maintains records and logs, and follows established work procedures. It supports production schedules and customer requirements, department and company goals, and provides service to internal and external customers. The position also contributes to process improvements, 6S programs, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and a positive team environment. Other duties may be assigned, and the employee may participate in training for other positions.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or a combination of knowledge, skill, and experience satisfactory to the manager.
• Ability to read and understand shipping instructions.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to use and navigate customer portals via the internet.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers and contribute to a positive teamwork environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned and participate in training or learning other positions.
