About The Position

This role involves operating and maintaining processes, equipment, or systems following autonomous maintenance standards. The QA Lab Tech will review and approve incoming ingredients and packaging, maintain equipment calibration, and perform program swabbing throughout the production facility to ensure food safety and quality requirements are met, ultimately producing high-quality products for consumers.

Work alternative shift coverage as needed.
Follow through on commitment and persevere through challenges to find creative solutions.
Experience performing food safety and quality activities in a food manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2 years of food safety and quality experience in a food processing plant.
Experience/knowledge in SAP.
Visual/verbal/auditory acuity – far sighted/near sighted/color vision, auditory and verbal skills
Exposure to temperature – heat and below freezing temperatures inside and out
Slippery floors – requires balance and agility inside and outside
Work with and/or around: moving conveyors, various automated equipment, lift trucks, manual equipment, allergens including soy, peanut and tree nut, and airborne powders
Tolerate and work at heights of up to 30 ft
Sensory acuity including taste, touch, and smell

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field preferred.
