About The Position

This position focuses on mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering—not software testing, IT, systems engineering, or other software-related projects. The QA Engineer develops and validates factory and product assessments, tests, and inspections in coordination with suppliers, foreign sourcing offices, and service providers. The role ensures that factories and products meet or exceed product specifications, applicable laws, and requirements in standard operating procedures, contracts, supplier buying agreements, and purchase orders. It monitors continuous improvement and corrective and preventive action plans, and analyzes supplier, factory, and product data to monitor quality, service, cost, and risk. The work is focused on less complex manufacturing processes and products with lower product-liability risks and related legislation or standards. The role typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time and the ability to travel internationally. It is based in a comfortable indoor area; most time is spent sitting, with frequent opportunities to move about. Rarely, the role may require moving or lifting light articles.
