About The Position

The Purchasing and Planning Manager will lead the strategic and long-term production and material planning and ensure the high level of customer service for domestic and export customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• 5+ years’ experience in Production, Purchasing/Planning and Logistics area.
• Fluency in English (oral and written).
• Proficient in MS Office, SAP, IBP and process design.
• Highly skilled analytical and strategical thinker with good communication skills.
• Team player with strong people-management skills

Responsibilities

• Long-term capacity planning for finished goods, semi-finished goods, non-tobacco materials and tobacco
• Optimal scheduling of the production thus ensuring any out-of-stock situation for the markets with a minimum of cost and cash flow relevant inventories
• Coordination and implementation of specification changes, new introductions, market related promotions projects and sourcing changes
• Close relationship and alignment with all relevant stakeholders as Customer Service, Supply Network Planning, Production and Finance
• Implementation of IBP processes to secure a high level of production scheduling quality
• Ensure that the financial figures and KPIs will be achieved in area of responsibility
• Lead and coach the team of direct reports
