About The Position

Golden Star Technology (GST) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to manage the purchasing process from order placement through fulfillment. The role involves building vendor relationships, negotiating competitive pricing, and coordinating timely product delivery. The successful candidate will work with suppliers, customers, sales teams, and internal departments to keep purchasing and fulfillment operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong organization, customer service, problem-solving, communication, and follow-up skills. It supports accurate execution of customer requirements, maintenance of purchasing records, and analysis of purchasing reports and data.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

Experience in purchasing, procurement, order management, supply chain, inside sales support, or related roles.
Knowledge of IT, technology, or Audio Visual (AV) products and solutions.
Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Quosal, or similar platforms.
Experience negotiating pricing and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

Create, process, and manage purchase orders with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
Coordinate product procurement and fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to maximize value and cost savings.
Maintain vendor and manufacturer relationships and monitor supplier performance.
Track and follow up on order status, shipments, backorders, and delivery schedules.
Process and distribute purchase orders, invoices, and related purchasing documentation.
Review and analyze purchasing reports and ad hoc data to support business decisions.
Communicate and execute customer requirements, including product specifications and configurations, quantity changes, split shipments, multiple orders, special requirements, and multiple shipping locations.
Serve as a liaison among suppliers, customers, sales teams, and internal departments regarding order status, updates, delays, and fulfillment issues.
Resolve purchasing and fulfillment discrepancies while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Maintain accurate records and data within company systems and purchasing platforms.
