About The Position
The Public Area Attendant/Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public spaces and guest rooms as needed. The role helps create a welcoming, home-away-from-home experience for guests by keeping shared areas clean and assisting guests with directions, recommendations, and other questions.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by giving directions, making recommendations, and answering guests’ questions.
- Clean lobby restrooms by mopping and dusting, refilling paper supplies, and replenishing soap.
- Collect and properly dispose of hotel garbage and recycling.
- Deliver towels, toiletries, and other items to guest rooms as needed.
- Vacuum and maintain public areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
