Public Safety Officer
About The Position
The Public Safety Officer performs security services at St. Francis Medical Center, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual security rounds. The role coordinates facility responses to potential problems affecting patients, employees, and visitors, and enforces policies and procedures equitably. The officer uses established guidelines and ongoing monitoring techniques to promote a safe workplace and environment of care. The position also supports the Environment of Care committee’s multidisciplinary approach to security and safety, participates in employee awareness and education, and drives as needed for company business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State Guard Certification Registration Card.
- State driver's license upon hire.
- Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
