About The Position

The Public Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of designated hotel public spaces while delivering warm, memorable guest experiences. The role includes daily cleaning of areas such as restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces; welcoming guests and responding to questions and service requests; assisting with guest room cleaning and housekeeping requests when needed; and completing periodic deep-cleaning projects.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces.
• Dust and polish furniture, vacuum and mop floors, shampoo carpets, wash windows, and empty trash.
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and promptly resolve service requests.
• Assist with guest room cleaning and fulfill service requests when needed.
• Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks, including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors.
