About The Position
The Public Area Attendant helps create memorable guest experiences by maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel’s public spaces and providing warm, responsive hospitality. The role includes cleaning designated areas such as restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces; greeting guests and assisting with questions and service requests; supporting guest room cleaning when needed; and completing periodic deep-cleaning projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of designated public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces.
- Dust and polish furniture, vacuum and mop floors, shampoo carpets, wash windows, and empty trash.
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and promptly resolve service requests.
- Assist with guest room cleaning and fulfill service requests when needed.
- Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks, including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors.
