About The Position

The Public Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of hotel public spaces while providing warm, memorable hospitality to guests. The role also supports housekeeping operations by helping clean guest rooms and handling service requests as needed. The position is with the Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame, a 164-room hotel with more than 10,400 square feet of event space.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and emptying trash.
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and promptly resolve service requests.
• Assist with guest room cleaning and fulfill service requests when needed.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning projects, including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors.
