About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations at the Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame, a 164-room hotel with meeting facilities. The role leads the housekeeping team, supports room readiness and operational logistics, coordinates maintenance needs, and helps ensure that guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and quality standards. The supervisor also provides housekeeping support as needed and responds to guests’ special needs in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, oversee, and evaluate Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure cleanliness and quality standards in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assign, inspect, and verify room status, and promptly report discrepancies.
• Monitor work schedules, payroll reports, stock room and cart inventory, and the lost and found program.
• Partner with Engineering and Property Operations to address repair and maintenance issues.
• Perform Room Attendant and Houseperson responsibilities as needed to maintain service levels.
• Address special guest needs in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
