About The Position

Perfetti Van Melle (makers of Mentos, Airheads, Dentyne, Trident and Bubblicious!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Team Lead to join our growing team. The PtP Lead oversees the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, managing supplier relationships, procurement, invoicing, and payments to ensure efficiency, compliance, and strong financial control. This role drives process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement while aligning operations with cost-saving, cash flow, and risk management objectives, and partnering cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and IT teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; ongoing training in financial systems, procurement, or automation (RPA/AI) preferred
5+ years in finance, procurement, or AP, with strong end-to-end PtP experience in multinational environments
Experience in high-volume industries (e.g., FMCG) managing large-scale transactions and payments
Proven leadership managing teams and driving process improvement initiatives
Strong ERP expertise (SAP, Oracle) across procurement, invoicing, and payments
Deep knowledge of the full PtP cycle, including supplier management and payment optimization
Proficient in ERP tools, automation, dashboards, and reporting for PtP operations
Experience leading process improvement and automation (RPA, digital tools)
Strong understanding of compliance, tax regulations, vendor risk, and internal controls
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to track KPIs and improve efficiency

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PtP) operations across procurement, invoicing, and payments
Optimize working capital through efficient invoice processing and favorable payment terms
Ensure timely, accurate invoice approvals and payments in line with contracts and policies
Manage and develop PtP team; drive performance, training, and engagement
Partner with procurement to align strategies and support cost-saving initiatives
Drive process improvements and automation (RPA, ERP enhancements) to reduce manual work
Ensure compliance with regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls
Manage key supplier relationships and resolve payment issues promptly
Track and report PtP KPIs (e.g., cycle time, DPO, supplier satisfaction)
Support accurate month-end/year-end close, including reconciliations and accruals
