About The Position

This role is for a PTO Defense & Systems Console Technician. The essential responsibilities include ensuring the control room display of data and safety limit annunciation is correct and in accordance with test requirements. The technician will participate in test planning efforts and support testing in areas of the console, Fadec Monitoring System (FMS), Display Adjustment Panel (DAP), and Portable Data Loader (PDL) operation. They will also maintain required test cell and engine hardware/software documentation, foster effective communication with customers, support organizations, and team members, and investigate, diagnose, and correct instrumentation and system malfunctions. Additionally, the technician will assist maintenance and engineering organizations in the maintenance and repair of test facilities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Technical Discipline from an accredited school or institution (Or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing or equivalent quality training)
  • Ability and willingness to work weekend shifts
  • Ability and willingness to work an off shift position - weekend shift / 2nd shift
  • Ability and willingness to work a reasonable expectation of overtime
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be będ on the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
