As a Dispatch Professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and coordinate the appropriate security-related response.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, dispatch records, incident reports, and shift activity documentation to support daily operations and help address security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, while tracking officer activity and communicating post assignments as conditions at the location change.
