Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, handling incoming calls and radio traffic, and supporting security-related communications at the location.
  • Monitor dispatch systems, cameras, alarms, and access activity, and coordinate appropriate responses to incidents, service requests, and unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating updates to site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, and relay information between officers, management, and/or client representatives in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, while helping to support emergency response activities and daily operations in a technology-focused location.
