You will support access screening, assist guests with professionalism, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
- Screen visitors, guests, and/or team members entering the location, verify access permissions as directed, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering clear directions and support during disruptions, medical events, and/or evacuations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Document screening results, incidents, and/or daily activity in required logs and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal, site contacts, and/or emergency responders as needed.
