About The Position

Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a busy retail location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses, communicate with on-site teams, and help address security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor radio, phone, and/or alarm communications, receive requests for assistance, and relay information to security-related personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate the assignment of officers to incidents, service calls, and priority situations throughout the retail location to help support timely response.
  • Document incidents, calls for service, and unusual activity in dispatch logs and reports, maintaining clear and accurate records for security-related follow-up.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
