As a Security Officer Console Operator in Apex, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity at a stationary post, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this location, you will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access at the front desk, greet visitors, verify credentials, and direct guests, employees, and/or vendors according to site-specific protocols.
