About The Position

As a Security Officer Overnight Console Operator in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Dispatch professional supporting a government location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate security-related activity, and document incidents with professionalism and care. In this fast-paced role, you will help to deter issues through clear communication, strong attention to detail, and dependable response support. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and innovation, you will play an important part in daily operations.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor communications systems, receive calls for service, and relay information to security-related personnel, site contacts, and/or emergency responders in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity in logs and reports, helping to support accurate communication and follow-up.
  • Coordinate routine and priority dispatch activity, helping to direct personnel to reported incidents, access concerns, and/or operational needs across the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, helping to gather details, prioritize calls, and communicate updates to appropriate parties.
