About The Position

STAR Physical Therapy is hiring a PT Technician at its Cool Springs location. The technician assists therapists with treatments under direct supervision, prepares patients for treatment, and assists with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist. The role also includes maintaining clinic equipment and treatment areas, helping with administrative tasks, supporting inventory management, and following safety protocols. The position contributes to a positive clinic environment and supports the overall team.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
• Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
• Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
• Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
