About The Position
This position supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The role provides effective leadership and cultivates working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure employees comply with safety policies and procedures and with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
