About The Position

This is a 1-year contract position for a Physical Therapist in an Acute Care Hospital setting. The role requires a Washington State (WA) license and experience in acute care. While not mandatory, Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience is considered a bonus. The ideal candidate should be self-directed, a team player, and a hard worker. The hospital is a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds. Charting is done via Epic, and parking is free.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Washington State (WA) license required.
• Acute care experience required.
• Must be self-directed, a team player, and a hard worker.

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in an acute care hospital setting.
• Float between units as needed.
• Work occasional weekends to support regular staff.
• Manage patient caseload with expected ratios of 8 patients to 1 therapist.
• Utilize Epic for charting.
