About The Position

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist for its outpatient clinic in Brandon, Florida. The clinic provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services through in-person visits and a secure telehealth platform, serving adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing. Care is individualized and delivered with compassion and respect. The Psychotherapist provides assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions, using different psychotherapy and counseling modalities. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, provides psychoeducation to patients and families, and maintains documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. The contractor determines their working hours. Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, with telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday. The position offers the option to work 50% via telemedicine from the beginning of employment. Compensation is $60–$70 per billable hour, and group malpractice insurance is provided.

Requirements

Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
Active Florida license.

Responsibilities
