About The Position
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is a network of outpatient mental health clinics in Florida, providing in-person and virtual care through a secure telehealth platform. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing. The organization’s mental health professionals care for adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above, with individualized treatment delivered with compassion and respect. The Psychotherapist provides outpatient assessment and therapy services to patients with a range of mental health conditions. The role is for an independent contractor and offers flexible scheduling determined by the contractor. Clinic offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, with telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday. The contractor may choose to work 50% via telemedicine from the beginning of employment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- Active Florida license.
- Work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
