About The Position
Harmony United Psychiatric Care, part of Harmony United Healthcare LLC, is a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing in-person and virtual care in Florida. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing. The organization serves adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above, with individualized, compassionate care. The Psychotherapist will provide outpatient mental health services in Brandon, Florida, including assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions. The position is for an independent contractor, with flexibility to determine working hours. Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, and telemedicine availability is offered Friday through Sunday. There is an option to work 50% via telemedicine from the beginning of employment. Compensation is $60–$70 per billable hour. Requirements
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- Active Florida license.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
