About The Position
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a full-time Psychotherapist for its outpatient clinic in Brandon, Florida. The clinic provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services through in-person visits and a secure online telehealth platform, serving adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing. The Psychotherapist provides psychotherapy, counseling, assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, educates patients and families, and documents services in accordance with company policies and procedures. The position offers a $5,000 signing bonus, base compensation, productivity and performance bonuses, and additional compensation opportunities. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday. The regular schedule is either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week. Additional telemedicine work Friday through Sunday is available for additional pay. After achieving productivity, the role may work 50% via telemedicine. The company provides administrative support and digital technology and emphasizes work-life balance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- Active Florida license.

Responsibilities
- Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
