About The Position

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a full-time Psychotherapist for its outpatient clinic in Haines City, Florida. The clinic provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services through in-person and virtual visits, serving adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing.

The Psychotherapist provides psychotherapy and counseling, assesses and diagnoses patients, and delivers therapeutic interventions for a range of mental health conditions. The role includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team, educating patients and families, maintaining compliant service documentation, and staying current through continuing education and professional development. The position offers a $5,000 signing bonus, base compensation, productivity and performance bonuses, and additional compensation opportunities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• Active Florida license.

Responsibilities

• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
