Psychotherapist Production - Atrium Health Stanly Pediatrics
About The Position
This position will be a mix of onsite and remote, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The Psychotherapist will develop, implement, and evaluate patient care according to identified needs. They will manage clients in crisis utilizing appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques, and write appropriate treatment and discharge plans based on the individual needs of the client, following through with the termination process. The role involves collaborating with guardians and community agencies for effective service delivery, completing patient care assignments with attention to detail and accuracy, and providing accurate and timely documentation of patient care/response in the medical record, including billing information. The Psychotherapist will also design, plan, and implement effective patient education and maintain open lines of communication, collaborating with the healthcare team for patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant human services field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited school of graduate education required.
- Full licensure in applicable state required.
- 2 years clinical experience required.
- CPI and CPR training required for psychotherapist working in inpatient psychiatric setting.
Responsibilities

- Writes appropriate discharge plans based on individual needs of client and follows through with termination process.

- Completes patient care assignments with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provides accurate and consistent documentation of patient care/response in the medical record.
- Completes accurate and timely billing information.
- Designs, plans, implements effective patient education.
- Maintains open lines of communication, collaborates with healthcare team for patient outcome.
