About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. This role covers adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatry along with PHP/IOP programming, ECT, psychiatric consults, and GME resident teaching, working alongside an experienced, physician-led team and a strong midlevel support staff. This is a full-time adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatry position at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. The role includes PHP/IOP (Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient) program involvement, access to Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for patients requiring advanced treatment, and psychiatric consult responsibilities. A GME Faculty appointment is available, allowing the opportunity to teach and mentor psychiatry residents. The psychiatrist will supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs/PAs) in a collaborative, physician-led practice environment with strong administrative and clinical support staff. Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Experience with adult and geriatric psychiatry
- Comfortable supervising and collaborating with midlevel providers
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ECT preferred
- Interest in GME teaching and resident supervision a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult and geriatric inpatients
- Manage adult and geriatric inpatient and PHP/IOP treatment plans
- Administer and oversee Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) treatment
- Provide psychiatric consultation services as needed
- Supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs/PAs)
- Teach, supervise, and mentor psychiatry residents as GME faculty
- Work alongside therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in shared call coverage
