About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join a well‑established outpatient behavioral health practice in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area. This role offers a stable patient panel, strong clinical support, and a collaborative environment focused on delivering high‑quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completed residency in Psychiatry
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active or eligible Alabama medical license
• Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative practice

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for patients in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate with APPs, therapists, and other psychiatrists to support coordinated care
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
• Participate in treatment planning and case discussions with the clinical team
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care focusing on patient outcomes and experience
