About The Position

Harmony United Psychiatric Care, part of Harmony United Healthcare LLC, is a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing in-person and virtual services in Florida through a secure telehealth platform. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing. The organization serves adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above, with individualized, compassionate care. The Psychiatrist provides outpatient psychiatric care in Fort Myers, Florida, with the option to deliver care in person and through telemedicine. This is an independent contractor opportunity with flexible working hours determined by the contractor. The role offers compensation up to $300 per hour, with optional additional compensation for serving as a collaborating physician. Group malpractice insurance and administrative support are provided. Candidates must hold an MD or DO and be board eligible or board certified in psychiatry. An active Florida license or progress toward obtaining one is required. Candidates in the final year of residency may also apply.

Requirements

MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
Board eligible or board certified psychiatrist.
Active Florida license or be in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development.
