About The Position
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing in-person and virtual care in Florida. Its services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing. The organization serves adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above, with individualized, compassionate care. The Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist provides outpatient psychological services and may offer psychotherapy and counseling, neuropsychological testing, or both. Testing services are optional. The independent contractor chooses their working hours. Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, with telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday. The position offers the option to work 50% via telemedicine from the beginning of employment. Compensation is $75–$80 per billable hour. The company provides group malpractice insurance, testing materials, and administrative support.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
- Must have a Florida license or be in the process of obtaining one.
Nice To Haves
- Experience conducting neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing is preferred.
- Work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services, optionally.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions, neuropsychological findings, and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through continuing education and professional development.
