About The Position
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing in-person and virtual services in Florida. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, and neuropsychological testing. The organization serves adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above through individualized, compassionate care. The Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist provides psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a range of mental health conditions. The role may focus on psychotherapy and counseling, neuropsychological testing, or a combination of both. This is an independent contractor position offering a choice of working hours. Clinics are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, with telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday. The role may be performed 50% via telemedicine from the start. Compensation is $75–$80 per billable hour.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
- Must have a license in the state of Florida or be in the process of getting one.
Nice To Haves
- Experience conducting neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing is preferred.
- Work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services, optionally.
- Choose to provide psychotherapy and counseling only, neuropsychological testing only, or a combination of services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions, neuropsychological findings, and therapeutic strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through continuing education and professional development.
