Psychiatric Registered Nurse RN Per Diem
About The Position
Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art facility and a joint venture with Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services. It serves up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units. The hospital is seeking dedicated nurses to provide innovative, evidence-based care centered on patients’ individual needs, comfort, and safety. The Registered Nurse coordinates and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, following the nursing process and applicable standards of care and practice. The nurse also oversees and directs the unit’s Mental Health Technicians to help ensure patients’ safety and meet their needs. The position offers flexible per diem options. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
- Hold a Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Michigan.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and evaluate patient care collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
