•$130,000 - $187,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care in Chesterfield, Virginia. The position is fee-for-service and W-2, with compensation of $130,000–$187,000 per year based on 25–35 clinical hours per week. Clinicians must be licensed and live in the state where they practice. Care is provided through in-person and telemedicine services to a diverse client population, primarily adults and adolescents, with a willingness to treat clients age 14 and older. Clinicians evaluate and treat mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Thriveworks does not incentivize stimulant prescribing; prescribing decisions are left to the clinician based on the client’s symptoms and diagnosis. The organization does not currently treat substance use disorders and seeks to refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine alone. New hires complete in-house training and a certification exam on ADHD treatment standards and are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic, with no quotas for clients or prescriptions. The position includes clinical support, flexible scheduling, and no required on-call coverage.
