Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who lives in Pennsylvania to provide ongoing telemedicine care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. The role primarily serves adults and adolescents, with a future focus on expanding care across the lifespan. Clinicians must be able to treat clients age 14 and older and go into the office at least one day per week. This is a W-2 fee-for-service position with compensation of $130,000–$187,000 per year, based on 25–35 clinical hours per week. Clinicians complete in-house training and a certification exam on the organization’s ADHD treatment standards and approach. New hires are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to treat ADHD clients, but there are no quotas for clients or prescriptions. Prescribing decisions are left to the clinician’s discretion; Thriveworks does not push or incentivize stimulant use. The organization does not currently treat substance use disorders and makes efforts to refer clients to in-person providers when their symptoms are too severe for telemedicine alone. Thriveworks is a clinician-founded and clinician-led mental health provider with more than 340 locations and a nationwide hybrid care model. It serves more than 175,000 clients annually through over 1.7 million sessions. The organization describes its work environment as supportive of clinicians’ professional development and long-term careers.
