About The Position

TeamHealth is hiring a full-time psychiatric mental health clinician to provide behavioral health care to older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings, including SNF, LTC, ALF, and IRF facilities. The position offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, organizational support, and onsite patient care with remote documentation. The coverage area includes South Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The clinician conducts psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations; diagnoses and treats psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders; prescribes and manages psychotropic medications; evaluates behavioral and safety concerns; provides brief interventions and behavioral management; and collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends. This is a W2 position with full benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted North Carolina license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
Active DEA registration or willingness to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

Experience with older adults or post-acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities
