Psychiatric/DD Nurse - Intermittent - Heartland Behavioral Healthcare
About The Position
The Psychiatric/DD Nurse provides nursing care at Heartland Behavioral Healthcare in Massillon, Ohio. The role includes providing medication, education, and empowerment to individuals; monitoring and documenting patient behavior, condition, and response to medication; and monitoring health, vital signs, treatment-plan progress, and participation in activities. As a multidisciplinary team member, the nurse helps create a safe and positive environment through safety and observation rounds and group facilitation. This is an intermittent, casual position with a variable schedule based on hospital needs and a limit of 1,000 working hours in any fiscal year. The hourly pay rate is $36.01.
Requirements
- Hold a current license as a registered professional nurse in the State of Ohio, issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing under Section 4723.03 of the Revised Code.
