About The Position

Fawn River Cultivation Company is hiring a Provisioning Center Budtender to provide sales and customer service in its cannabis provisioning center. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, organized, well-stocked, and inviting store while creating a positive, welcoming experience for customers and patients. The Budtender educates patients about cannabis products and safe consumption, handles transactions and records accurately, and follows state, local, and company policies and procedures. The position reports to the Dispensary Manager.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state regulation.
High school diploma or general education diploma.
Cannabis knowledge and a desire for continuing education.
Subject to a state-required background check.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and/or a flexible schedule when needed.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using critical-thinking skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct sales and customer service while maintaining a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environment.
Create a positive, customer-service-oriented environment by warmly greeting customers and assisting them one-on-one throughout the sale.
Comply with established state, local, and company policies and procedures.
Stay up to date on products, strains, changes in law, and industry trends to provide high-quality customer service.
Educate patients about cannabis products, including flower, edibles, and concentrates, based on their needs and requests.
Advise patients on appropriate safety measures when consuming cannabis.
Use POS and METRC systems completely and accurately for in-store, online, and phone orders.
Handle cash and apply discounts accurately.
Verify customers’ identification, paperwork, and documentation.
Maintain patient information and records.
Weigh and package products as needed.
