About The Position

The Provider Support (CMA/LPN) works in the Clinic and supports providers in patient care. Responsibilities include rooming patients and prenatal visits, assisting providers with procedures and treatments, and completing tasks such as injections, phone communication, patient education, vital signs, chart documentation, quality improvement initiatives, and supply management. The schedule is 72 hours per pay period, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is non-exempt and pays $25.49–$33.42 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Must be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, with clients of all ages, coworkers, practitioners, and administration.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good time management skills.
• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinic nursing experience.

Responsibilities
