About The Position

The Provider Support (CMA/LPN) works in the Clinic, rooming patients and assisting providers with procedures and treatments. The role includes injections, phone communication, patient education, taking vital signs, chart documentation, participating in quality improvement initiatives, rooming prenatal visits, and managing supplies. The position is 72 hours per pay period, non-exempt, with a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The hourly wage range is $25.49 to $33.42.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and graduate from a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program. They must be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license. Previous clinic nursing experience is preferred. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants or an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners, and administration.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Positive attitude.

• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good time management skills.
• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.
