About The Position

The Provider Support (CMA/LPN) works in the clinic, rooming patients and assisting providers with procedures and treatments. Duties include injections, phone communication, patient education, taking vital signs, chart documentation, quality improvement initiatives, rooming prenatal visits, and managing supplies. The position is 64 hours per pay period and is non-exempt.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants or an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners, and administration.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Good organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Good time management skills.
• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinic nursing experience preferred.
