About The Position
The Onboarding Specialist facilitates a seamless end-to-end onboarding and retention experience for new physicians and providers. This role serves as a resource and guide to candidates and Medical Staff leaders through requisition, recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, retention, and off-boarding processes. The specialist supports onboarding and integration for employed, affiliated, and independent providers, helping ensure a consistent onboarding experience and foster provider engagement across the Munson Healthcare system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
- One year of experience in ambulatory practice management, medical staff/physician services, hospital credentialing, physician recruitment, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Guide candidates and Medical Staff leaders through requisition, recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, retention, and off-boarding processes.
- Support onboarding and integration of employed, affiliated, and independent providers.
- Help ensure a consistent onboarding experience and foster provider engagement across the Munson Healthcare system.
