About The Position
This role is for a Prototype Build Coordinator responsible for managing multi-million dollar prototype builds. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse mechanic personalities. Candidates should have a strong understanding of vehicle components and be comfortable with Microsoft tools. Diagnostic experience is a plus. The role involves learning Bill of Materials (BOM) processes on the job.
Requirements
- Prior mechanic experience (dealership or independent), or Significant hands on automotive repair experience beyond basic maintenance (3 years of either work experience in a dealership, automotive repair, or personal experience noted on the supplier notes or cover letter)
- Strong understanding of vehicle components (brakes, suspension, cradles, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse mechanic personalities
- Highly organized
- Comfortable with Microsoft tools
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Diagnostic experience is a plus
- Mechanic certifications are a plus
