About The Position

MANTECH International Corporation seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Proposal Solutions Architect to join its Strategic Pursuits team. The Senior Solutions Architect / Book Boss will apply strategic and technical expertise to lead complex Federal acquisitions, guide subject matter experts through technical solutioning, and drive the delivery of high-quality proposal volumes and presentations. The position supports MANTECH’s work in national security and government sectors, including intelligence, the Department of Defense, and Federal Civilian organizations.

The role develops integrated solution architectures and proposal content, incorporates people, processes, and technologies into delivery plans, and oversees solution development for oral presentations and staffing plans from Pre-Final RFP through Color Team reviews. The architect also guides proposal production and applies quality assurance and quality control frameworks to strengthen proposal integration and win probability.

This is a fully remote, full-time position in the USA. U.S. citizenship is required. The posting states that no security clearance is required, while an active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance is listed as preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 12+ years of equivalent experience leading across federal program management, business development, capture, technical architecture, and the proposal continuum.
• Hands-on experience in solution architecture and problem solving within Federal Government Contracting and Mission Operation environments.
• Ability to lead and facilitate working sessions while manipulating artifacts to capture inputs and make live proposal content updates.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace toolsets.
• Experience with Federal acquisition vehicles, contracting mechanisms, and rapid task-order environments.
• Track record in strategy, problem framing, technical development, and technical proposal writing.
• Track record guiding cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to deliver compliant proposals and oral presentations.
• U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance.
• Industry or government certifications such as PMP, DAWIA III, SAFe Agile, ITIL, Cybersecurity/Cloud Solutions Architect, or Shipley certifications.
• Professional military experience, such as graduation from Command and Staff College, Top-Level School, or a school of advanced warfighting.

Responsibilities

• Generate overall solution architectures by converting high-level concepts into integrated proposal volumes.
• Guide Technical Directors, Practice Leads, and Key Personnel through virtual and in-person solutioning sessions using whiteboard and slide tools.
• Create and manipulate PowerPoint slide text and graphics in collaboration with graphic design teams.
• Incorporate human element requirements into solutioning to define the people, processes, and technologies needed for task delivery.
• Own solution development for oral slide presentations and project staffing plans from Pre-Final RFP through Color Team reviews.
• Guide Proposal Production Teams to develop integrated, fully compliant, and compelling proposals.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control frameworks to elevate win probability and oversee final solution integration.
