Solutions Architect

Lirvana Labs•New York, NY

About The Position

Lirvana Labs is hiring a Solutions Architect to own the end-to-end path from customer discovery to production deployment. The role works with school and district leaders to understand their needs, translate them into shippable solutions, and build prototypes, agentic workflows, evaluations, and data pipelines on the company’s platform. Solutions are carried into production and handed off to the platform team for ongoing maintenance. The role is approximately half hands-on building, one quarter customer discovery alongside Sales, and one quarter requirements definition and scoping. The Solutions Architect co-owns the sales pipeline by building prototypes and proofs of concept that help close deals and build partner trust. They work with Sales, Engineering, DevOps, and Product, and report to the Head of Product. Example projects include integrating attendance, grades, and behavior data to identify students at risk of not graduating, and building and evaluating an agent that drafts comprehensive education plans from student data. The role is suited to someone comfortable with high ownership, making day-to-day technical decisions, and adapting solutions based on partner feedback.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience shipping production software, including experience as the technical person in customer conversations.
  • Ability to turn a non-technical stakeholder’s user story into a buildable solution and implement it directly.
  • Comfort owning code in production.
  • Experience with Snowflake and modern data engineering, including pipelines, ETL, data modeling, and SQL optimization.
  • Experience working with messy data.
  • Experience building n8n workflows and understanding how agentic workflows integrate with a data stack.
  • Experience selling or supporting sales, including working with multiple stakeholders, handling objections, and keeping deals moving.
  • Ability to manage projects end to end and maintain realistic timelines.
  • Sound independent technical judgment and ability to make day-to-day technical decisions.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to time-constrained school leaders.
  • Experience leading a small team or mentoring junior full-stack engineers.
