Solutions Architect

Chainalysis
•$100,000 - $100,000

About The Position

The Solutions Architect team connects business priorities with practical technical solutions, helping customers understand how Chainalysis can support their objectives. The Solutions Architect provides technical leadership throughout the customer journey, translates complex requirements into clear recommendations, demonstrates how products fit customers’ operating environments, and guides customers toward measurable business outcomes. The role requires a deep understanding of Chainalysis solutions and customer challenges, along with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical practitioners, business leaders, and executive stakeholders. The Solutions Architect builds customer-specific solutions that support deployment, integration, adoption, and long-term value. They work across account teams and customer functions, serve as a trusted advisor, and help customers build their own capabilities and self-sufficiency. Solutions Architects also develop AI-assisted workflows, operationalize Chainalysis data, contribute customer feedback to Product and Engineering, and represent Chainalysis in customer meetings and industry events. The role emphasizes responsible, measurable customer outcomes, clear communication, sound technical judgment, and ongoing learning in blockchain and AI.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in one or more relevant areas, such as financial services, compliance, investigations, fraud, cybersecurity, digital assets, transaction monitoring, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or enterprise product management.
  • Ability to make complex technical or operational concepts understandable to different audiences.
  • Strong storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills, including the ability to engage technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Creative, structured, and investigative approach to solving challenging customer problems.
  • Comfort with technical tools and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to operate effectively when requirements are ambiguous, information is incomplete, or the best path forward is undefined.
  • Collaborative approach, including willingness to share knowledge, seek input, and improve team practices.
  • Demonstrated focus on measurable customer outcomes, not simply technical activity or product usage.
  • Interest in blockchain and desire to continue building knowledge of the technology, market, and customers served.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to develop technical depth and investigate how technologies work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python or another programming language, SQL, data analysis, notebooks, workflow automation, APIs, integrations, or AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Services, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering as a core member of the account team.
  • Own customer outcomes across the full lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, investigation support, compliance program delivery, deployment, enablement, adoption, and expansion.
  • Lead discovery conversations to identify objectives, operational pain points, use cases, technical constraints, and success criteria.
  • Translate business and operational needs into technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation paths.
  • Explain Chainalysis capabilities in the context of each customer’s compliance, risk, fraud, investigations, or security environment.
  • Create tailored demonstrations, proof-of-value experiences, and technical narratives aligned with customer priorities.
  • Conduct blockchain investigations, provide compliance and regulatory guidance, and build technical solutions such as notebooks, dashboards, automation workflows, data integrations, reference architectures, and agentic workflows.
  • Develop AI-assisted workflows to accelerate and automate investigations, analysis, and customer processes, adapting them to customer operating models, data, controls, and risk frameworks.
  • Design automation that fits into customers’ existing compliance, risk, fraud, investigations, or security operations.
  • Help customers access and operationalize Chainalysis data through APIs, integrations, and fit-for-purpose technical patterns.
  • Advise on solution architecture, API implementation, workflow design, data movement, and integration considerations.
  • Drive platform adoption by connecting customer workflows to Chainalysis capabilities and identifying new use cases.
  • Find creative and responsible solutions to difficult customer problems while balancing speed, scalability, security, maintainability, and measurable impact.
  • Build customer trust through sound technical judgment, clear communication, reliable execution, and understanding of the customer’s business.
  • Assemble outcome data, consumption metrics, adoption analysis, and expansion signals to support quarterly impact reporting and renewal conversations.
  • Build customer capability and self-sufficiency rather than ongoing dependence on the Solutions Architecture team.
  • Translate customer insights and feature requirements into product feedback for Product and Engineering, and communicate improvements back to customers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, meeting customers at their current level of crypto maturity and helping advance their understanding, processes, and outcomes.
  • Represent Chainalysis at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Contribute reusable assets, knowledge sharing, internal initiatives, and improved ways of working to the Solutions Architecture team.
