This is a full-time, on-site Title Insurance Underwriter role based in Winston-Salem, NC. The Title Insurance Underwriter will review title commitments, and related documents to determine insurability of residential real estate transactions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review complex property records, identify title issues, and make sound risk-based decisions
Knowledge of insurance concepts and practices, ideally with direct experience in title insurance or related property and casualty insurance fields
Underwriting experience, preferably in title insurance, with familiarity in applying underwriting guidelines to residential and commercial transactions
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with internal teams, customers, attorneys, lenders, and other stakeholders
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with common office software and title/escrow systems; ability to learn company-specific platforms and tools
Commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and inclusive, collaborative teamwork

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in title, escrow, closing, or real estate law is strongly preferred
