About The Position

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Property Manager for a future opportunity. The Property Manager leads the property team and is responsible for driving the property's success, developing team members, and exceeding customer expectations. The role combines financial and operational management with resident engagement, marketing, and team leadership. The Property Manager works with the Regional Manager and staff on budgets, forecasts, marketing, staffing, and capital plans, and helps ensure operational decisions support the property's financial performance.

Requirements

Five years of experience in multifamily real estate.
Critical and analytical thinking when setting goals and reporting results.
Ability to use computer software effectively to address financial and operational issues.
Understanding of budgets and financial statements.
Proficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Leadership demonstrated through actions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with people from diverse social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Work with the Regional Manager and staff to complete annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, marketing plans, staffing plans, and capital plans.
Drive the property's financial performance by understanding how operational decisions affect financial results.
Understand the financial statement and required financial reports.
Recruit, hire, train, develop, motivate, supervise, and assess the performance of staff.
Communicate professionally with residents about concerns, service requests, and other matters through newsletters and other media.
Engage in promotional, social, and content marketing.
