About The Position

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a future opportunity. The technician helps preserve the property's physical attributes and supports management in maintaining community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures. The role also involves enforcing safety measures, maintaining the shop and company equipment, controlling inventory, securing keys, inspecting the property for curb appeal, and providing excellent customer service to prospective and existing residents and teammates. The successful candidate has prior experience with the maintenance needs of a community and working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and building maintenance. The role requires English proficiency and the ability to use computers and related applications. The anticipated base compensation is $23.38–$26.97 per hour, or $48,650–$56,100 annually. Placement within the range depends on factors including experience, skills, and qualifications. Benefits include retirement and health care benefits, paid time off, and bonuses.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience with the maintenance needs of a community.
Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and building maintenance.
Proficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Ability to use computers and related applications.
